Great family trip I had today at powered ridge, I previously purchased my snow tubbing tickets online for the 5pm session. When I got there I was a little lost on where to go, but Riley was very helpful on brining me to the ticket station and printing out my passes and even helped us put the sticker on our jackets. I was in and out of the check in after 5 minutes, and she even proceeded to give me directions on where to go without me even asking, picking up on my confusion. Overall I would say excellent customer service, and a great overall experience. I think I went down the snow tubing 6 times within an hour, it was decent wait times but could be better. Overall, still a great experience and worth the money.

We went with the kids looking for some fun winter activities, and it turned out to be such a great experience! We’re definitely not professionals, so at first we felt a little overwhelmed. But one of the managers, Robbie, showed us around and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The kids absolutely loved the “snow play” area and had the best time. After that, we all went tubing together as a family — so much fun and lots of laughs! It was a wonderful family day, and we can’t wait to come back again!

I took my two daughters here for a private ski lesson and the had a great time. This wasn’t their first lesson and in comparison to previous lessons they said at Powder Ridge they were more challenged, which they appreciated. The teachers really connected with my children and were very personable. We booked the 4 hr lift tickets and rentals with the 1 hr lesson and that was plenty. We will definitely be back!

Immense fun for the entire family. Great location; you don't have to drive miles upon miles going uphill. Easily done in a family sedan since the road is paved. Some large resorts have gravel roads to this day. Great main cabin and restaurant. The bar is opened and accessible.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort – A Family Winter Win! If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly place to ski in Connecticut, Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort absolutely delivers. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was welcoming and upbeat. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient — especially with kids getting their gear together and navigating the lifts. That kind of service makes all the difference when you’re skiing with the whole crew. The slopes are perfect for families. There’s a great mix of beginner-friendly runs and enough variety to keep things interesting throughout the day. It’s not overwhelming, which makes it ideal for kids learning to ski or snowboard, but still fun for adults who want to get some solid runs in. The atmosphere feels safe, relaxed, and community-oriented — you can tell it’s a place built for making memories. Now let’s talk food — because no ski day is complete without it. The lodge serves up all the fried classics you crave after a few hours on the mountain. And the hot dogs? Epically thick. We’re talking serious ski-lodge fuel. The pricing is also surprisingly reasonable compared to what you’d expect at many ski resorts, which is a huge bonus for families. Only minor hiccup: the wings came out a little undercooked. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed, but worth noting. Everything else hit the spot and kept the crew happy and refueled. Overall, Powder Ridge is a fantastic family ski destination — friendly staff, fun slopes, solid comfort food, and a laid-back, welcoming environment. We’ll definitely be back for more winter fun!

We went tubing this morning for 11am slot. Initial line for the carpet was long but it moved fast. There were a lot of people, the staff did a great job managing what they could. We were able to go down 8 or 9 times in our slot, worth the money and the small wait for good family fun. Food inside was decent priced, very chaotic in Cafe but it's so family focused and everyone watched out for each other. Thank you so much Powder Ridge team!!!

The snow tubing was pretty good. Some lanes were a bit in the slow side but once you figure out which ones are faster than others, it is pretty fun. The prices were fair and it is actually a good place to have fun with the whole family. If possible, try to go in the nighttime as the lights and music make it even more fun.
